Girls Basketball

The Lady Flashes took on #5 HSE Royals on Friday night. The varsity lost a tough one 29-83. JV lost to HSE 23-43. On 11/17, the Lady Flashes traveled to Columbus East to take on the Olympians. The Olympians took down the Flashes 64-57. They are back in action on 11/20 when they travel to Columbus North. JV and 9th grade tip-off at 6p with Varsity to follow (7:30p).












The Flashes competed at the Capital City Classic at Perry Meridian High School on 11/17. They came home with a 5th place finish overall. Standout performances from the weekend include a 4th place finish by Nick Morton (’19) and runner-up finishes for DeShawn Young (’20) and Antone Alexander (’21). The Flashes have a week off before traveling to Greenfield-Central on 11/29.








Swimming and Diving

The Flashes hosted their Blue-White intersquad meet on 11/17. The top performance from Saturday came from Nathan Boomershine (’20) swimming the 6th fastest 100yd butterfly in school history. The boys and girls team will travel to Greenfield-Central on 11/20 to open up their 2018-19 season. Be sure to follow them on Twitter (@fchs_swimming) for meet results.


Boys Basketball

Boys basketball travelled to Richmond for their pre-season scrimmage. They will open up their 2018 season on Tuesday, 11/20, as they host the Ben Davis Giants. JV and 9th grade tips off at 6:00p with Varsity to follow (approx. 7:30p).
