Franklin Central High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Criss Beyers as boys basketball coach. Coach Beyers joins Franklin Central after a successful stint at Warren Central High School.

While at Warren Central, Coach Beyers’ team won the 2018 state championship and became one of only twelve teams to have finished the year undefeated in over a century of Indiana high school basketball. Coach Beyers’ career record of 99-28 includes a 46 game win streak, the third longest in state history. Coach Beyers was also recently names as the Indiana All-Star Game head coach.

Coach Beyers began as an assistant under JR Holmes at Bloomington High School South, the state’s winningest coach. As an assistant, Coach Beyers helped coach the Panthers to two state titles. Coach Beyers also spent two years as a graduate assistant at Indiana University under legendary coach Bob Knight.

Coach Beyers head coaching experience also includes stops as the girls coach at Bloomington High School South (1994-1999) and the boys coach at Martinsville High School (2012-2013).
