Multiple Teams · Fall Cheer Try-outs Start July 6th!


Cheer tryouts for football season will take place the week of July 6th starting at 6:45pm. Meet at the main football stadium. In the event of rain, please meet in front of the Freshman Academy entrance.

– Incoming Juniors and Seniors Monday, July 6

– Incoming Sophomore Tuesday, July 7

– Incoming Freshman Wednesday, July 8

CHECKLIST for TRYOUTS:

All items list must be completed prior to attending tryouts. Check back often to ensure you have all updated information.

  • Valid physical on file in athletic office – Athletes that had a valid physical on file for the 2019-20 school year will be valid for the 2020-21 school year but athletes MUST complete the Health History Update Questionnaire and Consent and Release Certificate with parent/guardian signature and be turned in to the Athletic Office before participating in practices. Any Athlete that did not have a valid physical on file in the Athletic Office during the 2019-20 school year MUST turn in a NEW physical form with all pages dated April 1st, 2020 or later into the Athletic Office to be eligible to participate.  The Athletic Office must have the original physical on file in the Athletic Office, we do not accept a copy.   • Tryout Sideline (Chant) Get Up and Get em
    • Flashes, Flashes You’ve Got to Get Up and Get em x 4
    • You will start with your back to the judges, for the first time. You will then turn and face the judges during tryouts for the last three times.
    • In a game situation, this would be like facing the football field for the first time. You would then turn and face the fan station for the remaining three times.

    • There is one eight count before the music begins. You are asked to show your creativity during this portion. Remember that it must be something you are able to perform in your dance spot and not interfere with others around you.
