Brian Hacker – Girls Basketball Varsity Coach and Asst. Varsity Coach

A graduate of Franklin Central, Brian is in his 28th year of teaching Physical Education, Health, and Language Arts at FTMS West. Brian received his B.S. from IUPUI in 1990, and completed his M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in 1997 from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Brian was the head coach of the FC Girls’ Basketball Program for seven seasons, having directed four winning seasons, netting two Sectional Championships (2013 and 2014). Brian also serves as an assistant coach for the girls’ Track and Field Program at FC after serving as head coach for seventeen seasons. In Coach Hacker’s 26 seasons on staff, the running Flashes have captured ten Sectional and one Regional Championship, along with three Conference Indiana Titles.
Brian and his wife, Gail, reside in Franklin Township and have two daughters Holly (’03) and Katie (’07). All three Hacker women are alums of FC and are a part of the Flashes Girls’ Basketball Tradition.
