Coach Lewis graduated from Westerville North High School in 2008, where he was a three year letterman, 2 year team captain, and all conference linebacker. He went on to play football at Butler University for two seasons until he suffered a career ending injury. After his injury he stayed on Butler Football staff for three seasons coaching Linebacker, Defensive Backs, Special Teams, and Defensive Line.
Upon graduating from Butler University in 2013 he went to South Decatur High School for one year to teach P.E., Health and Strength and Conditioning while also serving as Defensive Coordinator for the Varsity Football program. In 2014 he joined the Flashes family as a Physical Education teacher, JV Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach. In 2015 he accepted the Head Coaching position for Franklin Central Football. Coach Lewis is excited to coach at Franklin Central because of the supportive community and high quality of student athletes throughout the township.
Off the field he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, working out and continuing to develop his coaching techniques. He lives in Broad Ripple with his wife, Kelcie and two pets, Kodiak and Carlos.
