The Flashes Freshman Basketball Team scored its second consecutive win with a 48-35 win over Westfield Wednesday night.

The Flashes trailed by eight at halftime after being outscored 17-8 in the second quarter. They responded by shutting the Rocks out in a 16-0 third quarter.

The Flashes were led by Wyatt Gilliland’s 11 points. Cole Perry and Airrion Boyd each added seven in the effort. All eight Flashes that played scored at least four points.

The Flashes also won the B-team game, 46-34. FC trailed this game at the half as well, 15-12, but used a 21-point third quarter to take and keep the lead.

Tanner Dudley paced the B-team with 15 points, including four 3-pointers. John Tambe added eight points and each of the six other Flashes that played scored.

FC next plays Greenwood at 9 a.m. in the first round of Saturday’s FC Invitational Tournament.
