On December 22, the Flashes swam to a second place finish at the Marion County Championship meet. They scored 104 more points than they did in 2017 and came up just 15 points short of claiming the championship title. The Flashes claimed four Marion County event wins: 200 Medley Relay, 200 IM (Brabender), 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke (Boomershine). Nathan Boomershine set a new school record in the 50 Freestyle – 21.22, breaking the previous mark after seven years. Full results are posted below. The Flashes travel to Fishers on 1/5 to compete in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference championship meet.
